Swing by the red lotus pond boasting the biggest bloom of red lotus in 7 years, take in the mesmerizing beauty of nature’s masterpiece. Lunch at the cozy restaurant nestled within the old coconut orchard.
And visit the Pink Dragon Temple and WianTian offering to pay homage to the Lord Buddha around Thailand’s grandest pagoda!

08.00: Van leaves from Bangkok to Nakhon Pathom Province
09.30: Visit the red water lily pond. This is a 50 years old -old floating market. Right now it’s a tourist attraction but not for the floating market, it has become a popular destination for the red lotus pond. There’s many kinds of lotus in this pond, which bloom at different times of the day. The best time to visit is in the morning, where we get to see two types of lotus blooming.
10.00: Free time to visit the markets. There are more than 80 shops including food vendors. The unique sale of this is the lotus leaf Miang Khum.
11.00: Return to the van. Drive to Sampran district
12.00: Lunch at the cafe in the coconut orchard. Sitting in the orchard near the canal.
13.30: Transfer to Wat Sampran (Pink Dragon Temple)
14.00: Starting from the entrance of the dragon gate, we are first going to climb to the top of dragon head for good luck. After that, we will go to the building nearby to see the whole dragon from an angle. We are also going to walk around the temple to see other kinds of mystical animals like the pink elephant, big turtle etc.
15.30: Leave for Nakorn Pathom Chedi, The largest Pagoda in Thailand, and also known as the very first pagoda in Thailand as well. We will start by visiting the hall. It has a painting describing the journey of the Chedi, how it was found and modified.
16.00: Join the Candle Light Procession, the “Wian Tian” (เวียนเทียน), where people will walk three times around a Temple in a clockwise direction, carrying a lighted candle, Joss sticks and flowers which will later be given as an offering to pay homage to the Lord Buddha. “Wian” (เวียน) means to circle and “Tian”(เทียน) is a candle.
16.30-17.00: Return back to Bangkok
18.30: Arrive back to Bangkok and end of the trip
