Visit Ayutthaya, the old capital of Thailand, and the most important historical events. Visit temples from a historical and architectural point of view. Living up to the past, you can rent Thai traditional dress (optional) for sightseeing around the world heritage site. 

We are also going to take a boat tour around Ayutthaya island, which was the main transportation route back in the time. We will get to see the beautiful and important sites located near the river. We end our boat trip by visiting the Elephant bathing site, which is the elephant’s natural routine to cool themselves down during the hot day.

Our lunch will be at Khao Soi chicken with vegetable buffet in the Thai style garden and restaurant.

07.55: Meet at the Gas Station near Wutthakat BTS Station

08.00: Van leaves from the station driving to Ayutthaya province

09.30: Visit Wat Yai Chaimongkol, a temple of Great Victory. Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon is considered to be the most important historical temple and is one of the most popular temples for tourists in Ayutthaya. The temple has a great historical story  and also an outstanding architecture. We will walk upto the tallest pagoda, which bring a good fortune to the visitors

10.30: Boat tour around Ayutthaya city and watch elephants bathing. We will visit a site where the caretakers take their elephants to bathe in the river. 

12.00: Lunch at the restaurant

13.00: Optional: Rent Traditional Thai dress to visit inner temples inside Ayutthaya city. 

14.00: Visit Ayutthaya Historical Park, the World Heritage temples

1. Wat Phra Si Sanphet: An important temple built in the Royal Palace, comparable to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha of Bangkok or Wat Mahathat of Sukhothai.
2. Wat mahathat: Almost a symbolic of Ayutthaya historical site. A temple in old khom style. The highlight of this temple is the buddha head wrap up with banyan tree
3. Wat Chaiwatthanaram: located outside of Ayutthaya island by the river. This temple is the queen’s favorite temple and considered as the most romantic site in Ayutthaya historical park.

17.00: Visit the famous Roti Saimai, the famous dessert from Ayutthaya. And we will return to Bangkok

19.00: Back to Bangkok and end of the trip
