Travel international domestically. Visit Mon Village at the end of Thailand’s and Myanmar’s borders.

Challenge yourself and hike up to In-Khawn Peak.  This mountain is known by the locals as the Golden Holy Rock, as it is naturally placed near the edges at the peak without falling for hundreds of years, it also turns golden once it’s touched by the sun. This trail was discovered by the 70 years old monk and a team of locals.  

After the hike, we are going to continue our journey to Sangkhlaburi, a unique Mon village in between Thailand & Myanmar. This village is always beautiful under bright sunshine or foggy rain. We get a chance to wear the traditional Mon clothes & power up the face with the thanaka powder, then off to visit the village in the morning. After that, we take a long tail boat to see the temple under the river and visit the abandoned one on the other side of the river.

Day 1:

8.00: Van leaves from the Gas Station near Wutthakat BTS Station. Our journey starts to Kanchanaburi Province. (2.30 hr drive with gas station break time)

10.30: Arrive at the Golden Holy Rock. Off the beaten track hike and viewpoint. The hike is Challenge level with some technical difficulty. (around 1.30 hr hike time)

12.00: Lunch Time 

13.00: Back to the van and leave for Sangkhlaburi (2.30 hr drive with gas station break time)

16.00: Arrive at Sangkhlaburi, check in at the guesthouse, then we leave to the Mon bridge 

18.00: Dinner and free evening. 

Day 2: 

7.00: Change into traditional clothes and visit the morning market. We can see the traditional mon food offering. 

8.00: Go to market and traditional breakfast.

8.30: Lake and Temple tour Take the boat to visit the abandoned temple under the dam, visit old temple island.

10.30: Check out, return to the van and leave(3hr) (Lunch along the way)

14.00: Arrive at Krasae Cave and the death railway of Kanchanaburi. 

15.00: Back to the van

16.15: Meena Cafe to get some coffee and refreshment with a great view

17.00: Back to the van and return to Bangkok

19.00-20.00: Back to Bangkok and end the trip.
