The Start of butterfly watching season at Krankrachan National Park, the largest National Park in Thailand. It’s also the best location for viewing wildlife.  Kaeng Krachan National Park has a nickname of – Wildlife viewing paradise. 

Over 200 species of butterflies are now taking over the land of National Park. The butterfly seasons will last until the end of April.

Day 1:

8.00: Van leaves from the Gas Station near Wutthakat BTS Station. The journey takes around 3 hours from Bangkok to reach the national park campsite. We will stop at the gas station for a 15 minutes break.

11.00: Arrived at the National Park entrance. Get tickets and registration. Setup our campsite. Then we will have Lunch. After lunch we will get ready for our first hike

13.00: First Hiking trail. Destination 3 km for animal watching.

16.00: Return to the campsite 

18.00: Dinner and enjoy the rest of the night

Day 2:

7.00-7.30: Breakfast

8.00: Start tracking on the butterfly trail. They will mainly be around the water stream and like coming out under the sun. There are 3 main spots that have high potential for butterfly watching. 

11.00: Return to the campsite. take down our tent and shower.

12.00: Lunch, then we return to Krangkachan dam. 

13.30: We will take a boat around the dam inside the natural park, then we walk around before returning to the meeting spot then return to Bangkok.

14.30: Return to Bangkok

17.30-18.00: Expect to be back in Bangkok and end our trip.
