The two tallest peaks in the Kanchanaburi Range are Khao San Nok Wua and Khao Chang Phueak, respectively referred to as “king” and “queen” of the range. The highest point in Kanchanaburi is San Nok Wua, and we’re going to hike up there today. We put up our tents at an altitude of 1,767 meters so that we can see the sun rise and set above the Sri Nakarin Dam.

This is a two-day, two-night backcountry hike, and the first night will be spent camping near Khao Lam Dam.

Thursday 02nd
19.30: van leaves from bts

Friday 03rd
1.00 arrived at the national park. Set up tents

9.00 breakfast
9.30: van leaves to NP headquarters, meet our rangers. Safety and trail briefing. We will also meet with porter, if you need your stuffs to be carried.

• After that, we will transfer to pickup travel to the trail entrance.
• Total distance is 9km, estimated hour is around 4hours. The trail is range at challeng level (intermediate if you have hiking experience)
• We will eat lunch on the way during the hike.

15.00: arrive at the campsite at the peak. Set up tents.

17.00: Sunset view

18.00: Dinner and enjoy the rest of the night.

Saturday 04th

• Sunrise can be seen from the campsite.

7.00: Breakfast after that we will take down our tent.
8.00: start hiking down, same route, estimate hour is around 3-4hours.

• Once we are at the trail head, we will take showers and change into clean clothes

12.00: lunch time. Then return back to Bangkok

18.00-19.00: return to bangkok
