Backcountry hiking in the southern evergreen forest. We are going to Nakornsrithammarat Province, which is known as the mountain city of the southern part of Thailand. It’s also a place that produces fresh air as the location is surrounded by a big piece of evergreen forest. We are hiking Khao Men or Khao Su-Meru, the name of the mountain in heaven. This hike is a backcountry hike, with a 360 degree view of sunset and sunrise. It’s suitable for experienced mountaineer or intermediate who looking to take more advanced trail

Day 0: Friday 28th

19.50: Check in at the meeting point

20.00: Van leaves from Bangkok head to Nakornsrithammarat Province. We will spend the night in the van. 

Day 1: Saturday 29th

7.00: Arrive at the Unnamed Temple, we will stop her for the morning view of sunrise and buddha image. This location is unseen in Thailand. We will have breakfast and get refreshment here. After that, we will continue the ride to National Park. 

09.00: Meet our ranger, and introduce the trail. Transfer in the back of 4WD and drive to the starting point by 4WD (Around 30 mins)

9.30: Start Hiking to the campsite & the peak. Distance is around 3.5 – 4 km, the trail has difficult elevation gain, which takes us between 3 to 5 hours to the campsite. 

13.00-15.00: Arrive at the campsite. Set up the tent near the peak. Rest.

16.00: Walk up to the peak where we can see the 360 degree view, Watch Sunset.

19.00: Dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Day 2: Sunday 30th

05.00: (Optional) Wake up early for sunrise, trekking before sunrise *Request headlamp or flashlight*

06:30: Breakfast. Tidy up our tent and trekking back down to the trailhead (around 2 hours) Transfer to the National Park by 4WD

10.00: Return to the National Park, you can use the restroom here for a shower and change into new clothes. Then, we will return to the van and return back to Bangkok. We will stop at the gas stations for break and dinner.

23.00: Return to Bangkok and end of the trip

• Distance: 3.5km from starting point to the campsite, and 500 meters from campsite to the peak. (Return the same way)
