This trail to Doi Luang Tak Peak has just been opened for tourists in 2014. It’s a fairly new trail to visit, the trail is 11km long on the fairly moderate trail. The natural is still untouched by mass tourists, and remain local. We are passing through a variety of tropical scenery. It’s also suitable for the beginner or intermediate who would like to push themselves a little harder to experience real hiking & backcountry camping environment in a tropical forest of Thailand.

We are camping backcountry with no electricity, we are allowed to put on fire on the ground. Bond with nature and experience camping environment.

Day 1

21.50: Check-In
22.00: Van leaves from the departure spot heading to Tak Province (overnight in the van)

Day 2
6.00: Arrive at the meeting point. Breakfast and get ready for the hike.
7.00: Registration with the national park, get ready for the overnight trip.

• You can leave your set of clean clothes and things you don’t need for the trip at the campsite.
• Pack your camping equipment
• Pack drinking water (at least 1.5LT bottle of water)
• Pack lunch box, snacks, and Electrolyte Powder
• If you need a porter service to help with your stuff, we will get registration during this time too

8.00: Transfer with the pickup truck from the parking lot to the trailhead.

• The trail is 11km long, with the elevation gain of 950 meters (around 10% more or less)
• The trail is natural, passing stream, uphill, downhill, flat trail, tropical forest up to the campsite
• The trail is lead by the National Park ranger and porter.
• The trail is also backcountry, can’t be hiking alone
• Lunch box is packed with you, can be eaten along the way

15.00: Expect time to arrive at the campsite. We will set up the tents and campsite here.

16.30: Sunset walk. Very short walk to sunset viewpoint.

18.30: Dinner at the campsite and enjoy the rest of the night.

Day 3
7.30: Breakfast then tidy up our campsite and start to head down
8.00: Leave the campsite head down the same trail back to the starting point.
12.00: Take the pickup truck back to the starting point. Then shower and change into dry clothes. Take lunch and return back to Bangkok

22.00: Expect to return to Bangkok and end of the trip
