Hike to the 5th tallest peak in Thailand and camp in the middle of the forest on the meteor shower night, we end the trip on Christmas eve, transfer to the guesthouse to have a dinner party and gift exchange. We will start and end the trip from Chiangmai. 

This is the longest backcountry camping trip we’ve ever organized. We will be extra prepared for the food, water and camping equipment which are the hardest part of backcountry hiking. You can stay focused on yourself and your training for the trail, while we make sure you have food and clear water. 🙂

Day 1: 

8.00: Meet in Chiang Mai city. Then transfer to the hiking spot.

9.30: Get ready and start hiking from the village to Doi Langka Noi (4km) takes around 2-3 hours 

13.00: Arrive at the campsite, set up the campsite and rest, walk around the campsite. 

17.00: Dinner time then rest for the rest of the day

Day 2: 

7.30-8.00: Breakfast and pack up our campsite

• Today we are hiking from Doi Langka Noi to Doi Langka Luang distance is around 7 km, takes up to 4-5 hours. We starts hiking after 8am

12.00: Lunch

15.00: arrive at the campsite, set up our tent and rest. We walk around the area.

17.00: Dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening

Day 3: 

Early morning: We are going to hike in the dark to the peak to see the sunrise at the top of the highest peak, and return to the same route back to the campsite. (pack snack & coffee) with you to enjoy

8.30-9.00 : Second Breakfast, after that we pack and continn the hike 

• Today we are going to hike 4 km from Doi Langka Luang to Pha gom, the hiking distance is 4km. Takes 2-3 hours to our last campsite

12.00: arrive at the campsite. Lunch. Then we set up our campsite. We can walk around the site

17.00: Dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening

Day 4: 

7.00-7.30: Breakfast, then packup our campsite 

• Our last hike today is 5km, to the radio station, takes around 3-4 hours.

12.00: Arrived at the Radio station, ending our hiking adventure. The pickup truck will give us the transfer back to Chiang Mai City.

14.00: End the Trip
