If you want to try backcountry hiking, entering a part of the world that’s completely cut off. This trail is good for people with moderate fitness, who want to challenge themselves and try something more advanced. 

Thung Non Son in Phitsanulok, one of the country’s 10 most beautiful and abundant flower fields, has reopened to tourists after being closed for one year to allow for wildflower restoration. 

Our 3days, 2 nights trip will take you to see the less visited wildflower restoration. To get to this trail, we need the ranger to lead us, we will trek through the evergreen forest, and pop up at the wildflower field, where we set up our campsite.  We are also going to visit the hidden village that’s wrapped up by the beautiful limestone.

Day 1

7.45-7.55: Check in for the trip at the gas station near Caltex Gas Station Near Ari BTS Station

8.00: Van leaves from the gas station and heads to Singhabari for our first stop.

11.10: Arrive at BanBangRaChan Retro Market for our lunch stop. This place is the food market, where the vendors dress up in the traditional style.

12.00: Our trip continues

16.30: Arrived at Bang Mung Village. 

• Take tractor to visit the village

17.30: At the spot to see millions of bats leave the caves after sunset. 

18.30: Dinner, after dinner. We will continue our trip to the National Park campsite to get ready for the hike on the next day.

19.30: Arrive at the campsite. Set up our campsite and enjoy the rest of our night.

Day 2

7.00-7.30: Wake up for Breakfast & Coffee. Our breakfast will be served until 7.30

8.00: Pack our campsite & personal belongings, food and water (for lunch). Our porters will help us with a tent. You still have to carry a sleeping bag (optional to also take a sleeping mattress), your bag, lunch and water bottle.

8.30: Transfer to 4WD, to send us to the hiking spot. 

9.00: Start hiking. The distance between our basecamp to the campsite up there is 8km (take 4-6 hours). We will hike together with the rangers and the porters

14.00: Arrive at the campsite. Set Up our campsite. The ranger will help us get the bonfire start. In the meanwhile, we can walk to the flower field, or the water stream nearby. 

17.30: Sunset view from the campsite. After the sunset, the temperature will drop quickly, we get together for dinner, then it’s personal time to enjoy the rest of your night. 

Day 3: 

7.30-8.00: Wake up for Breakfast & Coffee. Our breakfast will be served until 7.30

8.30: Pack our campsite & personal belongings. Then we head back the same trail to our basecamp (hike & pickup truck) 

13.00: Lunch. Then we will drive back to Bangkok

19.00: Arrived back to Bangkok
