We start our trip on Saturday morning from Bangkok heading up north, in 3 hours we will reach our first location, Khao wong Temple. It’s the temple that looks like it pops from heaven, with its location surrounded by mountains. The temple was built from Teak wood, making it one of the most unique temples in Thailand. After that, we will visit Phu Tawai cave. It’s a beautiful cave full of Stalagmites and stalactites. This cave was the location for shooting a famous Thai period drama. 

After that, we will take a longer drive to Kampangpetch province, enter National Park to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. We are also going to visit Klonglan waterfall up close and from a distance. 

A small window in late January to early February where the mountain in Kampangpetch alpine changes its color into a variety of shades in orange, yellow and red in the deciduous forest. We will hike up to the peak to see the sunrise and color of the tree at the Elephant trunk viewpoint. On the way back, we will hike up to Khao Nor-Khao Kaew in Nakhon Sawan Province which is the place where we find the giant monkey king (Thai Bigfoot)

Day 1: 

7.00: Leave from Bangkok

10.30: Arrive at Wat​ Tham Khao​ Wong, The unseen of Uthai Thani. The temple is hidden in the forest mountain. 

11.30: Visit Phu Wai cave, the Stalagmites and stalactites cave that’s used for Thai period movies.

12.30: Lunch. After lunch we will continue to Kamphaeng Phet province

15.30: Arrive at the National Park. Setup campsite, then we will go to visit KlongLan waterfall. The walking distance from the campsite to the waterfall is around 1 km, take around 20 minutes to reach the waterfall. 

18.00: Dinner and enjoy the rest of the night at the National park campsite.

Day 2: 

05.00: Leave the campsite for sunrise at Elephant trunk viewpoint. It’s about an hour walk from the campsite. 1km walk with 300 meter gain.

6.00: Sunrise viewpoint, then return to the campsite for breakfast

8.30: Breakfast at the campsite. Then free time to return to the waterfall. 

10.30: Tidy up the campsite and leave back to Nakhon Pathom for our second hike. 

12.00: Lunch 

13.00: Hike up Khao Nor-Khao Kaew viewpoint. The total distance to the peak is around 700 meters, steep and quite difficult especially in the middle of the day, so please prepare yourself for the hike.

15.00: Return to Bangkok. 

18.30-19.00: Back to Bangkok and end of the trip
