Bangkok is a city where rivers and canals traverse all around. This makes the capital city of Thailand known as “Venice of the East”, which was given centuries ago by western travelers, merchants, and adventurers.
This Bangkok trip takes you back to a time when boats were the primary mode of transportation. Prior to its transition into its current appearance, we shall observe what influenced Bangkok into the city of today.
We will get to the viewpoint to see the new iconic landmark of Bangkok, visit royal temples, see traditional thai art, and learn to make a thai dessert adding to your skill set.
The boat we are taking is the very first solar energy boat in Thailand, which allows us to sail quietly and in style at a pace that allows us to appreciate the scenery of the riverbanks without further polluting the environment. We will tour traditional Thai homes and temples that are essential to Thai culture. Along the canal, at a Thai restaurant for lunch. Learn how to make a classic Thai dessert at an ancient lychee orchard before seeing a Thai puppet dance and touring an artist’s home to end the trip
