Our excellent partner is an expert in sailing, who will keep us safe during the journey. He’s also an environmental protector and will introduce us to the lives of locals who live along the river and other fun stories.

Let’s experience Bangkok in a unique way, learn, and see the culture and green area of Bangkok. Bird watching and saying hi to the local people.

3.00 PM: The tour starts: We itinerary, our kayaking route, restroom points, and general information

3.05 PM: 10 Minute warmup 

3.15 AM: Introduction to Kayak. Safety briefing and learn to use equipment and practice on land. 

3.25 PM: Receive equipments and lifevest (This is the sport life vest, that’s designed for sport activities, therefore you can move more freely) and transfer to the Kayak

3.30 PM: Practice kayaking in the water in the group, and take photos with the Giant Buddha before we start 

3.40 PM: Kayak via Khlong Bangkok Yai. Along the way, we will see temples and houses. Then we turn to a small canal on Klong Chakra. 

                  This is an old canal that has historical value as King Rama III has to sail along this canal to his royal Temple. 

                  Along the way, we will see

• Different kinds of birds
• Plants, tree and flower along the side of the river
• Wat Nang Shi, which is the old graveyard 
• People houses and community 

4.30 PM: Reach Wat Ratcha Orot. We will receive a drink and snack break here, and also visit Royal Temple 

5.00 PM: Back to Kayak and sail back to the pier 

6.00-6.30 PM: Stretching and End the trip

Note:

• Our maximum capacity is around 250 KG (for safety) 
• We have 2 Kayaks with 3 people seated.  And 1 Kayak with 1 person seats (total of 3) 
• 3 People seats are suitable for people that weight less than 80 kg 
• 3 People Kayak can only have 2 people sail at once (It’s for family and friend as you take a turn and rest more)
• 1 person seat is for experienced person or person with moderated fitness as you will be in charge of kayaking it back to the pier (if you cannot kayak back, there’s some transportation fee applies)

Water condition: 

• The water quality in the canal is not as clean as the ocean or the river. The bottom of the canal is a pool of mud. Therefore the water might look dark, but the water itself has its visibility as we can see through the water when we get closed) 
• During the high tide, we are going to experience more trash due to the current direction and water levels.

Safety:

• Your safety is our priority. 
• We provide a safety briefing before our kayak program starts 
• We provide the safety equipment and life vest that you are requested to wear it at all time. 
• Our kayak guide has over 25 years of sailing experience 
• Kayak is designed for not sinking 
• We are 1 Guide to 1.5 Kayak (1:1.5) 
• Insurance during the kayak trip

Weather Condition: 

• If it rains light, we will keep going.  
• If it rains heavily, we stop to see the condition, if it’s not good to kayak, we offer the free re-schedule or partial refund. 
• We organize the trip based on the weather forecast, we use the Rada instead of weather forecast app which is more efficient to predict the possibility of the rain
